2025 Course Fees for International Students

Additional Costs

The following is a guide to the additional costs that students should budget for depending on their course and stream. For all courses students are required to have a windows laptop, which costs approximately AUD$650 – see Bring Your Own Device Requirement checklist.   This list is exclusive of textbooks which could cost up to AUD$300.

Other Charges – International Students

Enrolment Fee

An Enrolment Fee of $AUD 225 (non-tuition fee), will be charged to all International Students

Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)

International Students must have Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), arranged either by Edith Cowan College with Medibank or by the student.

Unaccompanied Under-18 International Students

Students without a guardian in Australia will need to arrange accommodation with the Australian Homestay Network (AHN) and enter a welfare arrangement with the International Student Alliance (ISA) Student Advocates.

Statement of Tuition Assurance

Tuition protection’ refers to the protections and assistance available to support FEE-HELP or HECS-HELP (HELP) students, VET Student Loans (VSL) students and international students, in the event that their education provider defaults (ceases delivering a course or closes entirely).
