ECC scholarships

ECC offers 10-week English scholarship to international students who combine English with a Diploma or Foundation program at ECC followed by a degree at ECU.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • Be an international student.
  • Study Academic English Program at Edith Cowan College leading to Diploma or Foundation studies.
  • Have a package offer with Diploma or Foundation.
  • Accept and pay tuition fees by 31 December 2025.

Conditions

  • You must progress on to Diploma or Foundation studies.
  • The AUD4750 will be credited to your student account in week 5 in the first trimester or semester of your Diploma or Foundation studies.
  • The scholarship is open to prospective students. It is not open to currently enrolled ECC students.
  • The Bursary amount cannot be refunded or transferred if you subsequently withdraw, defer or exit from the course.
  • Not applicable when package with PQP courses.

Value

This scholarship is valued at 25% of the total 8 units i.e. full-year tuition fees (or 2 units) to new students who commence an ECC Diploma or Foundation.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • Be a new student commencing an ECC Diploma or Foundation in February, June/July or October 2025
  • Be enrolling into an ECC Diploma or Foundation program for the first time
  • Be enrolled full-time at ECC (minimum 3 units)
  • Be in the top 10% of the course
  • Achieve a WAM of 65% in the first trimester or semester

Conditions

  • The scholarship is open to any student who commences their first Diploma/Foundation course at ECC in 2025, and is not available for course changes
  • The student must achieve a 65% WAM
  • The student must study a minimum of 8 units at ECC
  • The merit scholarship amount cannot be refunded or transferred if you subsequently withdraw, defer or exit from the course.
  • The scholarship is valued at 25% of the total 8 units i.e. full-year tuition fees (or 2 units) and is applied as a credit towards the student’s subsequent/second study period of enrolment.
  • The student will pay subsequent/second semester or trimester less the scholarship amount.
  • No scholarship will be refunded

The Navitas Family Bursary applies where two or more students from the same family study at a Navitas institution and is equivalent to 10% of the tuition fee for the first attempt at units in the program of study.

The bursary is credited to the eligible student’s tuition fee account each semester (the amount being relevant to the number of units undertaken in that semester).

Eligibility

  • The first family member can be studying at a Navitas institution at the same time as the other family members or may have studied at any Navitas institution previously.
  • The family bursary is granted to the second and subsequent family members who study at a Navitas institution.
  • The family bursary is not available for students who previously received a Navitas scholarship or bursary, or had a scholarship or bursary from Navitas withdrawn.

Definitions

For the purpose of this bursary, a family member is defined as a husband, wife, brother, sister, mother, father, son, daughter or stepchild.

Conditions

  • Successful recipients will not receive any money from the Navitas member institution. The value of the bursary will be recorded on the student’s account each study period.
  • The bursary does not apply to additional units or repeat units that may also be undertaken.
  • Navitas bursary is not applicable to English language program or any component of any English language program offered by Navitas member institutions.

Navitas member institutions

The Navitas bursary applies to students studying at BCUIC, Curtin College, Curtin Singapore, CRIC, EIBT, EIC, Eynesbury, FIC, HIC, ICM, ICP, ICRGU, ICWS, La Trobe University Sydney Campus, La Trobe Melbourne, LBIC, MIBT, MIBT Indonesia, PDIC, ECC, QIBT, SAIBT, SIBT, Navitas at FAU, Navitas at UMass Boston, Navitas at UMass Dartmouth, Navitas at UMass Lowell, Navitas at WKU and Navitas at UNH only.

This scholarship is valued for AUD 2000.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • Have been studying a full course load (i.e., 4 units and not just a final unit in that program)
  • Have passed all 4 units in your first attempt.
  • Be a continuing or graduating student, not a first trimester/ new to college student.
  • Excludes Year1, CTFS, TAP, PQP, Academic English Program units.
  • Awarded to top continuing or graduating student in the current study period.
  • Enrolled in 4 x Year 2 modules and having passed them in their first attempt.
  • Have commenced your course at ECC before to 31 December 2024.

Conditions

  • Excludes former recipients of the Dr Peter Larsen Award
  • Excludes students who commence their ECC course from 1 January 2025 onwards.

ECU scholarships

The International Undergraduate Scholarship 2025 is offered to international students from selected countries. The scholarship offers a 20 percent reduction in your tuition fees for the offered duration of your course at ECU.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • Be an international student;
  • Be commencing your studies at Edith Cowan College on a packaged Foundation or Diploma pathway into ECU  before 8th August 2025;
  • Commence the ECU course in the teaching period stated in the original offer letter. i.e. students extending the ECC Diploma Program may not be eligible;
  • Be packaged to study in an eligible CRICOS registered undergraduate degree (excluding Bachelor of Arts (Acting) (Y93), Bachelor of Arts (Arts and Cultural Management) (T74), Bachelor of Arts (Dance) (T73), Bachelor of Arts (Music Theatre) (G44), Bachelor of Arts Honours (C34), Bachelor of Counter Terrorism Security and Intelligence (Y14), Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Studies) (Y42), Bachelor of Education (Primary) (Y41), Bachelor of Education (Secondary) (Y68), Bachelor of Music (W76), Bachelor of Music Honours (K35), Bachelor of Performing Arts (Y97), Bachelor of Performing Arts Honours (W92), Bachelor of Preclinical Foundations of Imaging Science (T78), Bachelor of Science (Cybercrime, Security and Intelligence) (W87), Bachelor of Science (Nursing) (C33), Bachelor of Science (Nursing)/Bachelor of Science (Midwifery) (Y76), Bachelor of Science (Paramedical) (K89)).

The International Masters Scholarship 2025 is offered to international students from selected countries who are applying for selected Master degrees at ECU. The scholarship offers a 20 percent reduction in your tuition fees for the offered duration of your Master course at ECU.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • Be an international student;
  • Commence the PQP before 8th August 2025;
  • meet ECU’s entry requirements for the course and commence study onshore, in an eligible postgraduate degree at ECU, Western Australia.
